About Taichung Park
Taichung Park is one of the oldest and most iconic parks in Taichung City, Taiwan. Established in 1903 during the Japanese colonial period, it spans over 10 hectares and offers a peaceful escape in the heart of the city. The park features a beautiful lake with a charming pavilion known as the Lake Heart Pavilion, which has become a symbol of Taichung.
Visitors can enjoy scenic walking paths, traditional bridges, lush greenery, and a variety of recreational facilities. Taichung Park is not only a popular spot for locals to relax and exercise, but it’s also a cultural landmark, often hosting events and celebrations, especially during holidays like Lantern Festival.
